  • 13 weeks, Days 7a to 7p.
  • Experienced with postpartum care and attending deliveries preferred but not required.
  • As a small, level II NICU, permanent NICU staff are cross-trained to attend deliveries and provide recovery care to the newborn and are also cross-trained to postpartum/couplet care. Travelers will NOT be expected to provide postpartum/couplet care, but they will be expected to care for well newborns during times of no NICU census. Candidates with delivery/transition experience are preferred.

    • NICU experience of 2yrs, minimum.
    • Epic
    • BLS and NRP. S.T.A.B.L.E preferred but not required.
    • No first time travelers accepted.
    • Christmas coverage
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekend Rotation: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun day) every 6 weeks + minimum of 2 Fridays every day weeks.
      • On Call Requirements: 2 mandatory 12hr on call shifts per 6wk schedule.
      • Floating Requirements: May float to postpartum to assist with well newborn assignments. If trained/competent, may float to transition role to attend deliveries.
      • Holiday Requirements: 1 major and 2 minor holidays.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • In the NICU, permanent staff are cross-trained to attend deliveries and provide recovery care.
          • Additional Details
          • Current and valid drivers license or government photo ID.
