dynamic Permanent Associate Attorney to join our high-performing
legal team. The selected candidate will play an integral role in
managing and resolving complex legal issues. This position offers
an exciting opportunity to delve into various aspects of law,
including Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Class Action Law, Mass
Tort Litigation, anti-trust law, consumer protection laws, and
Business Dispute Litigation. The successful candidate will be
instrumental in shaping and implementing our legal strategies,
providing expert legal advice to our clients, and ensuring the
highest standards of legal practice.Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and oversee all phases of litigation, from
investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial,
settlement, and appeal.
- Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters and disputes,
including class action lawsuits, mass tort litigation, anti-trust
cases, and business disputes.
- Conduct research and in-depth analysis on complex legal issues
and provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including
pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
- Represent the firm and its clients in court hearings,
arbitration proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients,
ensuring their legal needs are met and their rights are
protected.
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff
to ensure the smooth operation of our legal practice.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends
that may impact our clients and our legal practice.Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus
on Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Class Action Law, Mass Tort
Litigation, anti-trust law, consumer protection laws, and Business
Dispute Litigation.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state and in good
standing with the state bar.
- Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and
problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear and persuasive
manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and
maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and
gravitas.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and
deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office
