Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Prepared Foods Team Lead to join our team at Whole Foods Market. • Team Leadership: Develop and maintain a positive and productive team culture, leading by example and fostering open communication and collaboration.
• Sales and Profitability: Work closely with the Team Leader to achieve sales and profitability targets, analyzing sales data and implementing action plans to drive growth.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless store operations, maintaining high standards of retail execution, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Training and Development: Select, train, and develop Team Members, providing coaching and mentorship to help them grow and succeed in their roles.Requirements and Qualifications
  • 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy.
  • Growth mindset towards greater responsibility and ownership.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Product knowledge and advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate.Working Conditions
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
    • Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
