Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Produce Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market.Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Produce Team Members to ensure smooth operation of the department.
• Work with the Produce Trainer to train Team Members and build a high-performance team.
• Assist in the training of new Team Members and maintain a high level of retail execution.
• Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
• Open and close the department according to established procedures.
• Ensure all necessary breaks are given to Team Members.
• Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Produce team procedures and policies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to teach others in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Product knowledge and proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
